Ok, so violent video game character Max Payne probably isn’t most folks’ idea of a life coach, but I had to link up this recent piece on Slate.com by James Carmichael about, “how a monstrously hard video game made me a better person.” And a better mountain biker as well.
Great read, and James really makes a good point: everything is too easy in this day and age. Folks who push their limits (like athletes) on a regular basis are in the minority nowadays.
