It’s not live quite yet, but I’m working on a new section of my site called “Inspired By” with links to all the athletes, thinkers, creatives, etc. who inspire me to pursue what I do. One of the folks on there is Cedar Wright. Not because of his many first ascent climbs, speed records, etc… those are impressive, but you can read about those elsewhere. What I like about Cedar is how he presents what he does. His film and photography work actually manages to capture climbing for how beautiful it is… that’s rare. The other thing I appreciate is his sense of gratitude to be able to do what he does. That’s an attitude we should all have.
