FIFTY FOR UGANDA RIDE REPORT

Wow, what an awesome FIFTY FOR UGANDA ride this past weekend! Three of us met up early on Saturday morning in Scottsville, NY for a 50 mile mountain bike ride down to Mt. Morris and back to raise awareness and money for the Ugandan Water Project. Perfect weather, changing fall foliage, good company, chill trail, great cause!

We kept a solid pace heading down on the beautiful Genesee Valley Greenway, took a nice relaxing break at the Rainy Days Cafe & Bakery in Mt. Morris (yeah, that fresh eclair + iced coffee tasted AWESOME!) and than banged out the 25 miles back up to Scottsville.

A tad over 50 miles; 3:58 ride time; great day! Definitely making this an annual event!

You can still make a Fifty For Uganda donation for the Ugandan Water Project through the end of the month (click here) – over $250 has been raised so far – thanks!
