LAKE LILA ADIRONDACKS – ROUND 2

Went back up to Lake Lila (was there back in July) in the Adirondacks this past weekend canoe camping for a few days with my father. What a BEAUTIFUL trip! Caught the front-end of the fall foliage, enjoyed the cool night temperatures (29 degrees) and sunny autumn days… and no mosquitos, which is always a plus!

Highlights? Panoramic view of the night sky full of stars over the lake, soaring bald eagles, the call of loons, the autumn view from the top of Mt. Frederica (above), and hearing a bear outside my tent late at night.

Amazing. Love the Daks more and more every time I go, and Lake Lila is a definite keeper!
