I’m afraid that all too often we think of adventure as something that’s “out there” or far removed from our every day. That it only exists at the South Pole or on the summit of Everest. It’s not and it doesn’t. It’s right outside your door. It’s in your backyard and right down the road at the local trailhead.

Adventure can be found wherever we are determined to find it. Adventure is anything that pushes us past our own preconceived limits.

This is one reason I love Mike Curiak’s blog – LACEMINE29 – it’s always a fresh reminder that we can literally hop on our bike, lace on our running shoes, etc. and go make our own adventure. Enjoy!
